Jumbo loan limits have been increased as part of the federal Economic Stimulus Act of 2008 and will remain in effect until December 31, 2008.  Now, the jumbo loan limit for Palm Beach, Broward and Miami-Dade counties is $423,750, up from $417,000.  Nationwide, the conforming jumbo loan limits can be as high as $729,750, but only in higher priced areas such as San Francisco, Los Angeles and Santa Barbara, California.  Additionally, two, three and four unit properties have higher loan limits.
