It seems government at every level just doesn't get it. We want reduced spending and reduced revenues. It's really simple.

So why did all but 2 of the Palm Beach County Commissioners vote to allow the 1 cent sales tax increase to be placed on the ballot? Because how can they be re-elected if they go against the big fire unions?

Those who voted for this are cowards and don't want to have to do the hard work of reducing their bloated budgets.
